 A minimum of four (4) years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as a
Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing and
Midwife/Accoucher (in the case of grade 1 PND 1)
OR
 A minimum of fourteen (14) years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration
as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing and
Midwifery of which ten (10) years of the period referred to above must be appropriate /
recognizable experience in Midwifery Nursing Practice (in the case of grade 2 PND 2)
 Unendorsed valid Code EB driver’s licence (code 08)
